Sumitra Biswal is an author, independent researcher and pursuing her doctorate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a curious mind drawn to the intersections of technology, mathematics, human understanding and creativity.

Her book Stirring the AI Pot: Understanding the Ingredients of Intelligence (Volume 1A) grew from a simple belief: complex ideas need not be intimidating. Through everyday analogies, intuitive explanations and a healthy dose of curiosity, she hopes to make the mathematical foundations of artificial intelligence more approachable to readers from diverse backgrounds.

Her writing also ventures beyond technology. Through her GypsySoul poetry collection, she explores emotions, reflections and the quieter nuances of human experience.

She is also the voice behind SimplifAIng, a blog dedicated to making artificial intelligence and emerging technologies easier to understand, question and explore.

Whether writing about numbers, machines or human emotions, Sumitra is guided by a common thread: curiosity, thoughtful questioning and the belief that learning and expression should remain accessible to everyone.
